I’ve had the Cintiq 12WX for about a month now, and I figured it was enough enough time to write a review. Part of the reason why I took the time to do this was because when I was researching it myself, I still had a lot of unanswered questions, so hopefully this is helpful to anyone uncertain whether or not the 12WX is right for them.

Everyone in the company got tickets to see last Thursday’s Play! Symphony, featuring Guild Wars music 
There were quite a few Final Fantasy songs played, but for some reason, there was no gameplay or cinematic footage shown during the performance. Seeing a montage of Guild Wars footage was really nice, even though I made no contributions to Guild Wars 1 
I changed the theme to the Blog, so I could get a little more real estate when I post pictures. I didn’t like having to make blog-ready thumbnails since everything over a certain dimension would alias funny when the source code automatically scales them down.
I’m not terribly comfortable with my knowledge of anatomy, so I’ve been messing around with some anatomy stuff in Mudbox.
I used the base mesh provided in the ongoing Mudbox contest for this:
I didn’t go too much higher in mesh resolution as I don’t think I defined the masses very well.

I’ve been thinking about changing my domain for a while now. Effloresce triggers memories of a point in my college life that I’d rather forget. Something simple, and easier to remember (like my name) will probably be the new domain.
I haven’t posted anything in a while, mostly because I’ve shelved a few art projects I was working on. Artwise, I won’t be posting anything (not that I have much to show), until after the domain change has taken place.
